What you can expect at Apex Biblical Christian Counseling:

RESPECT and LOVE:
When someone is hungry for help, and sincerely seeking wise godly counsel, that person is worthy of the highest form of love and respect.  Apex Biblical Christian Counseling provides counseling that is non-judgmental, non-dogmatic, and non-denominational.

CONFIDENTIALITY:
Any information shared in a session that is of a confidential nature will be held in the strictest of confidence.  If any third party needs to be notified of something, it will be the full responsibility of the counselee to heed the guidance of the counselor to do so appropriately.  The only exception is when the counselor is required by law to notify a third party.

NO CHARGE FOR SERVICES:
Apex Biblical Christian Counseling does not charge for it's services.  If someone cares to make a free-will contribution, out of gratitude and a desire to support the ministry of God's Word, that is greatly appreciated.  But such financial support is neither a requirement nor an implied obligation in order to receive counseling.
The purpose of Apex Biblical Christian Counseling is self-explanatory - we offer Bible-based, Christ-centered answers to people seeking such counsel. We do NOT offer NC Licensed Secular Counseling. There are professional counseling practices in the area that offer that - but we do not.

As an outreach ministry, as a ministerial service to the Body of Christ, we provide scriptural answers to souls who are searching for a practical knowledge of how GOD, as our Creator, designed men and women to live victoriously.

Apex Biblical Christian Counseling exists solely to bring into people's lives our heavenly Father's gracious provision of Hope, Help, and Healing.

ABOUT US

COUNSELING CREDENTIALS:
The primary counselor at Apex Biblical Christian Counseling is Rev. Walter C. Manthey III.   He has over 20 years of experience in the field of Biblical teaching and counseling, with two Bachelor's Degrees involving extensive course work in counseling, pastoral studies, homiletics, theology, psychology, communications, and nouthetic counseling.

Rev. Manthey was ordained to the Christian ministry in 1979.  The ministry services he provides include pastoring/teaching a non-denominational Home Bible Fellowship in Apex NC, teaching/preaching at local churches in the Raleigh area upon invitation, and traveling throughout the United States to teach/preach upon request.  As a clergyman acting in a ministerial capacity, he offers counseling as an outreach ministry to anyone in the Body of Christ seeking Bible-based, Christ-centered answers to prayer.

If your counseling needs or preferences call for a NC Board-Licensed Professional Counselor, please consult http://www.ncblpc.org.  If you need or prefer to consult with a NC Board-Licensed Professional Psychologist, please visit http://ncapp.org.  For access to Licensed Psychiatrists in NC, we invite you to visit http://www.ncpsychiatry.org.

Please note, in offering Biblical Christian counseling in a ministerial capacity as a service to the spiritual Body of Christ, Rev. Manthey has chosen NOT to pursue licensing by the North Carolina Board of Licensed Professional Counselors, nor official licensing by any other mental health board in the state.  He has a high regard for the men and women who serve in such a board-licensed capacity, but chooses to serve the whole of the Christian community purely in a capacity as an ordained minister, in answer to God's calling on his life.

*****  We regret to say, but due to a full case load, in addition to other ministry responsibilities, we are NOT ABLE TO TAKE ON NEW CLIENTS at this time.  We strongly recommend that you follow the link above to TEACHINGS, and utilize any helpful online resources provided ("Healing the Heart:  Resolving Conflicts God's Way") (Understanding the Bible:  Putting the Pieces of the Puzzle Together") (General Topics) (Depression, Anxiety, and Other Thieves), (The Power of the holy spirit).
